Not all activities are created equal. Some get HUGE Results… create a BIG Impact on the World… and generate LARGE amounts of money. And then there’s everything else. Learn to develop the habit of accomplishing (only) 1 (very big) new result each week. You still need to do the day to day work… for now. As you get bigger results and generate bigger income, you’ll be able to start DELEGATING some of the Day to Day work. That’s how you make more money… in less time… doing what you do best.

If you could only complete one task this week, what would you do? If you follow any of my social media on Instagram or Facebook or Twitter, you'll notice that every Monday, I ask a simple question, what's the one task you have to complete this week that will make the biggest impact on your life? That might be something you do at work. It might be something you do personally. Then I ask even further, how long will it take and when you're going to do it. One of the most important things that people seem to miss out when I talk about working a four day work week or any coach that talks about greater productivity or this magical concept of more results in less time . People seem to think we're trying to come up with short cuts or some way to cheap the system. And all this really is is saying there are certain things you do that are worth a lot more income wise and results wise than other things. If you can invest your time in those things, that's going to make a bigger income for you. It's going to make a bigger impact for you. But so many people are accustomed to seeing things in a linear way as if all time is created equal, as if the time they do one task is the same as any other task.
If I were a dentist and I did not have any assistance, it was just me other than let's say perhaps an administrative person, I would do a lot of different things. I might help clean my client's teeth, I might do cavities, and I might do root canals. I'm not going to make the same amount of money doing teeth cleanings as I am when I do a root canal. A root canal is a more difficult task. It requires a higher level of skill, and it usually means I'm going to get paid more for it. Now, that's not to say as a dentist, I want people's teeth to go bad, but over time, I'm going to set up a situation, which most dentists, at least in North America, have whereby I say, Here's how it's going to go. There's certain team members that are going to focus on the administrative tasks, the billing, the making sure the clients show up for appointments, nd that's worth a certain amount, maybe anywhere from 10 to 15 to 20 to 25 dollars an hour. Then I'm going to have people that are doing the teeth claims, the dental hygenists, and that position might be worth anywhere, depending on where you are in the country.
I'm not an expert on this particular field, but I know it's somewhere in this range of, let's say, 50 to 60 to 40, 80 bucks an hour, something like that. Then there's going to be the work where I'm doing the root canals, the teeth, excuse me, the cavities, and the more difficult stuff. Those are going to be things that maybe it's going to generate for the business, 500 bucks an hour, 250 an hour, 150 an hour. In the case of a dentist, that would be one of those most valuable tasks. It's usually going to be a challenge or a problem that's more difficult, requires more talent, more skill. So as you look at this upcoming week, just write down what's one thing that's the most important thing. If you'd only get one thing done this week, but you had to skip everything else and you had to take off for vacation, but you get one thing done, what would that thing be and what would it be worth to you? How long would it take and when will you do it? I hope this serves you.
If you need help creating your 4 Day Work Week game plan, you can always go to 4day gameplan.com. That's the number 4day gameplan.com. But I encourage you, join our social media, follow us, and every time this comes up, type in your answer and start looking at what is it you can do every week to do one powerful thing. If every week you did one huge thing, you'd make huge strides, and some weeks that might be that you're taking time off. It might be that you're on vacation with your family. But every week, if you can do one huge thing, it's the simplest way to plan a great year and a great life. You can plan it a week at a time. You can plan it a quarter of a time, or you can even look each month and say, What are those four things I'm going to do over this month? And just get one thing done a week. Planning does not need to be very detailed. In fact, the more detailed it is, usually the less likely you are to do it. So choose that one thing, find that one thing. If you need any help with this, if you have any questions in this, please let me know. As always, I look forward to helping you make more money in less time doing what you do best.
Thank you.
